TORTOLA—At the LSU Tiger Relays in Baton Rouge, La. South Eastern Louisiana Jr. Kyle Francis added 36 feet on to his Hammer Throw best. He had the best throw by a BVI athlete this season, with a toss of 136’11 inches, bettering his previous best of 100’6”. He was 13^th overall.

Coming off a career best heave of 156’5” last week in the Discus Throw, Francis settled for eight place with a mark of 145’9”. In his third event on the day, he grabbed the BVI lead in the Shot Put for 10^th overall, moving into sole possession of third place on the territory’s all time list with a 45’9” effort. He was 10^th in the competition.
