Dwayne Davies who was relieved by Kelvin Solomon in the fourth, suffered the defeat.

The Braves’ 12 runs came from 6 hits, 3 errors and 5 left on base. The Latinos had 7 runs, 8 hits, 5 errors and 6 left stranded. Santa Hernandez was the Braves’ top hitter with a 3-for-3 game. He also scored three times and had a run batted in. Akeem Titley had a hit in two at bats, scored twice and had 2 RBIs.

Latinos’ Alfredo Dorsett and Angel Rosario went 2-for-3 respectively with each scoring a run. Dorsette drove in two and Rosario one.

Defending women’s champions Warriors pulled into a three way tie with the Rams and Lady Braves, after sending the Panthers to their fourth straight loss, 13-11. Cassie Stoutt struck out six to get the victory while Chevaunne Richardson fanned four but walked nine in a losing effort.

The Warriors finished with 13 runs, 10 hits, 6 errors and 7 left stranded. The Panthers’ 7 runs came off 11 hits, 3 errors and 7 left on base.
